FACADE HELP – NOTE: facade is a work in progress!    Art 173a

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

    Click on facade.exe,  Move the text window over so you can see both windows

    Click in the graphics window,  Type in the commands, delete works but not backspace

    Use the “p” command to make parameter changes to the face (see below)

    Use the lr or  lw <name> command to read/save a face as a library (see below)

    Use lr, and other command as well as listed below and by                      

    Type  “?”for more commands : Somethings don’t work yet like playback animation.

    Interested in how the code works, see the prog README

                       

                                    PARAMETER COMMANDS

p{rl} <pnum> [pvalue] -- Param value: display or change (left,right or both

l{rw} <entry> [region]  -- Read/Write Library Entry, region: e - eyes, m - mouth

                                    KEYFRAME COMMANDS

r <frame #> -- Read frame (or i)                     > <  -- incr/decr through key frames

d <key #> -- Delete key                                   + -  -- incr/decr through frames

w <key #> -- Write out key                              k -- print all Keys

sk <nlf> <ff> <lf> -- Scale Keys firstf-lastf to firstf-newlastf

P -- Play animition (It Works Now!)

                                    MISCELLEOUS COMMANDS

? or h -- help message                                   q -- Quit

 

Here are parameter values:

Before we put in the GUI sliders and things, parameters are hard to use. Try “p 4 20” to rotate JAW -  4 is the param

 for JAW (note chart) and 20 is the value ( 20 degrees open.).  Note the chart has the general range of each param.
