Assignment 4: Due Beginning of Tuesday’s Class Nov. 6th
Based on the following …
- information presented in class about our palette of tools for creating a virtual performance narrative
- what would the onlive community (our interactors) respond to storywise
- what we as a class ( and community) have in common to tell
Write up a one-page description of a high-level plot concept for the final class virtual performance. DO NOT go into deep detail with illustrations and low-level implementation issues. Keep it at the general concept level. But DO make sure your plot description covers the following in some way:
- general narrative theme of you idea
- why it relates to the class and community
- how it works on a simple level (keeping the interest of the casual interactor/viewer)
- how it works on a deeper level for those who will spend more time with it
The assignment may be handed in, in paper form in the beginning of class or emailed to me prior to class. Be prepared to discuss your idea in class.
